I'm using iTunes 7, and all i want to do is add the songs from my hard drive (they're already converted to AAC) to my ipod nano. Please help. I have the songs all ready to go in an itunes playlist. I press the sync button and nothing happens! lol

well i finally got it to work...don't know what i did differently, it should just work when you click the button to sync the playlist u want sync'ed!! whatever

Dude, seriously, you're thinking too hard. In iTunes you should see your Nano listed on the left hand side. Just drag the songs into your Nano or create a playlist and drag the whole playlist into your Nano.

Just click and drag, and there's no reason to convert everything to AAC. Every iPod will play MP3 files without a problem.

Right. Although AAC does procude better quality and Lossless better than that (takes more space though) it's useless to convert an MP3 to an AAC/Lossless file because once it's compressed to Mp3 you can't recover anything that is lost during the compression.

I'd use AAC if I was converting a CD I have, but Mp3 is still fine.
