How do you transfer accounts from NT to Windows 2000 Server?

We're upgrading our server replacing it with a faster system and switching from NT to Win2k server. We have a bunch of user accounts that will need to be transferred. Is there an easy way to do this w/o having to type-in each account over again?
 
I assume you're going to be running active directory in which case you can simply use the AD Migration Tool. Works well except that it does not bring over user passwords!
