How do you transfer a stock certificate to a brokerage firm?

Before my current job, I was working for another company that has an employee stock purchase plan. I was mailed a stock certificate for about 300 shares of this company.

I'm a bit confuse about how to transfer this certificate to my brokerage. I heard that I have to sign and endorse the certificate and then mail the certificate to my brokerage. But the back of the certificate is a bit confusing. Where do I sign the certificate? I think there is a line that says "attorney" and I'm supposed to put the name of my brokerage on there.
