But the box said to put it in for 2 hrs if I didn't thaw it. If thawed, 1 hour. It's like half thawed at best, and it's been in the oven for exactly 1 hr.

Lasagna should have everything already cooked. You are basically just heating it up.

Pull it out, stick a knife in it. Hold the knife there for a few seconds, then pull it out. You can tell from the temperature of the blade what the temperature of the lasagna is. If it's hot enough for your liking, chow down.

1. Remove lasagna from oven
2. Place lasagna on top of stove
3. Using knife from silverware drawer, insert into the middle of lasagna
4. Taste/temperature test the bit of lasagna on the knife
5. If lasagna is too cold, re-insert lasagna into oven and repeat steps 1-4 until suitable temperature is achieved
6. Enjoy lasagna (Profit?)

Keep it covered checking the internal temp ever so often. Once it hits like 140ish take the foil off and brown the top a bit. Let it stand about 10 minutes before cutting it.

sounds like the temperature is too high for heating the lasagna evenly . . ..

Or, on too high of a rack.

Covering it with aluminum foil will help prevent the top from getting too much darker if the rest of it isn't done.
