I want to update to 623-3 build but I don't know which bios version I currently have.

Also how do you flash the bios w/o a diskette drive?

Thanks.

in bios under advanced options, disable the dfi log (all the way at the bottom) save and re-boot.

on the first post screen you'll then see the bios in the bottom left of the screen.

as for bios flash, head to dfi.street and see the "bios factory" they have all the bios imaged so that you can burn to a cd and boot from that.

here you go.

yeah, but that gets tricky with dfi. they sometimes have 3 sub-revisions i guess would be the word of each bios revision.

like 6.23-1, 6.23-2 and 6.23-3 for different types of ram. and i've had bios that don't read in cpuz, just show a generic award tag.

just as easy to disable the ridiculous splash screen anyway.
