How do you tell what stepping you get from online retailers?

I am going to buy a p3 800 or 850 and I was would like to get a cCo stepping. Is there a way to tell what you're gonna get when you order? If you call them will they tell you the truth?

some online retailers are nice enough to sell you the stepping you're looking for... for stepping info, go to intel's website... look under technical support section or something like that...
