How do you tell the duplex a network card is running at in Windows?

I mean running at, not the speed, I know the speed its 1gbps. Besides looking at the link light on the switch is there any utility in windows to tell this?

some NIC's have a utility you can run that will show that kind of detail, i know 3Com has a utility for stuff like that. check the website for you NIC and see if you can find a utility to download

bring up the properties of the network card in windows, go to the 'Advanced' tab.

you mean in the device mangler? that is where you can set it, that doesn't display what it is actually communicating at based on the hub/switch it is currently plugged to

the advanced tab only helps if you forced it so something, not if you autonegotiate and want to know what it negotiated at
