How Do you tell the difference between an ATA-33, and an ATA-100 IDE Cable?

i have a 24 inch ide cable that i just found, and i really need it because i have an sx1040, How do i tell if it's ATA33, or ATA100

ATA33 cables have a 40-conductor ribbon
ATA100 cables have a 80-conductor ribbon

That, and the ATA66/100 cable will have a blue connector on the end.

That,and the blue end goes into the motherboard,the grey end goes to the slave,and the black goes to master.

That, and the blue connector matches the blue connector on the mobo, some mobos have regular ATA/33 (black) and ATA/66/100 (blue) connectors.

compare the hd ribbon to your floppy ribbon, if it looks about the same coarseness then it is an ata 33, if it looks much finer, like the cables running down the ribbon are much thinner then it is an ata 66/100 cable.
