How do you tell if a used 9700 pro is really a 9500 mod?

I'm going to pick up an FIC 9700 pro tomorrow for $200. that I found on a local internet classifieds. Because the price is so good I'm a little worried about being scammed. The guy says it has Samsung memory, so I'm going to check if the numbers on it are the same as other Samsung 2.8ns chips. But I've heard that some 9500's also have Samsung 2.8ns. I will have the opportunity to see it working. Anyone know a sure way to tell the difference?

Erm, doesnt it have "9700 Pro" marked on to the PCB?

All graphics cards ive seen from ATI & nVida & Matrox etc, have all come with the model number on the PCB or main GPU.

There's a red ATI sticker on the 9700.
