I feel Schneiderguy referring to her mom as "a girl" is more creepy than the contents of this thread.

This makes absolutely no sense. Marilyn Monroe is dead and we can still fap to her pics. Why would obesity be a problem?

Out of all the things in this thread that don't make sense, you have to pick on this one? lol

You don't have to see Marilyn Monroe's decayed body every day. He, living in his mom's basement, will have to see her every day as she gains weight, destroying any attraction he has. to. his. mom.

Lately my Mom has been packing on the pounds. I've always been known as "the guy with the hot mom" but her recent weight gain is putting this title in jeopardy. How do I tell her that she's fat without offending her? :hmm:

Why say anything? do you think she is stupid and doesnt realize that she is heavier than she used to be?
wtf? if anyone has to tell someone they are fat. Then either they are a jerk, or the fat person is really and truely in some kind of self denial stupidity.
Don't be THAT guy. just love your mom for who she is and respect the fact that she may not care. Don't insult her and her intelligence. either you know your fat or you not fat.

Tell her that chemotherapy would ironically make her more healthy because she would drop down to a normal "human" weight.

No one told me when I was getting fat. I was going through some tough times... but it's like waking up and fuckkkk the hot body is gone. I'm about halfway back now- but we don't always know, if there's a lot of things going on the body just falls off the priority list.

It also falls down stairs easier because the weight is more fluid-like and sways from side to side. It's like trying to balance a pale of water, but it's a pale of fat.

If you want to be helpful- approach the topic by asking if she's stressed, say you get the feeling something's up, ask if things have changed.

Let her get those emotions off her chest- that's probably what is causing her to gain weight, give her some guidance to be able to step back and look at herself objectively. If she thinks she figured out that she was getting fat by herself she's more likely to do something about it.

It's all about empowerment!

Buy her a gym membership. Many places (like Curves) has a $40/month plan.

BTW, she's your mom. She's obviously older than yourself, it gets harder to lose/maintain weight as she gets older. After my wife turned around 35, she began to struggle with her weight, she shot up to 200, now she's back down to 152.

Also, there may be an underlying medical condition that may be the cause. As in diabetes, thyroid conditions (both of which can go unnoticed for a long period of time before discovery). This was my wife's issue, the thyroid deal. It caused her to just want to lounge around (no energy), and upon my insistence to carry her to the doctor, it was discovered, treated, & now she once again has an active life, which in turn goes a long way in shedding pounds.

And in all seriousness, how can you call your very own mom "a girl"? I know of no man who refers to his own mom as such. It's OK to be friends with your parents, but a good thing can be taken too far.

To be quite honest, I'm curious in hearing more about your & your mom's relationship. I mean, I would be a bit uncomfortable to be seen with a 400 pound woman, regardless of relationship. But if your mom has only put on 20 pounds, it's no big deal.

And above all, remember that she's "your mom", not "a girl".

Post some past & recent pics & let us check her out.

See a doctor. They'll give her (and you) drugs to deal with aging.

Hormone replacement works really well. Antidepressants work too because the loss of hormones also seems to have a major effect on brain chemicals. Old people have lower levels of almost everything. Serotonin, dopamine, testosterone, estrogen, noradrenaline, acetylcholine, etc. Women are often given the antidepressant Effexor to deal with hot flashes.

Pics or it didn't happen. You know this!

P.S. Before and after pics in different poses would be best and if she "was" the hot mom, bikini pic please.
