How do you take your coffee?

Wow, another coffee thread.

How original. Do you use a burr grinder to make yours, it will devolve all over the place of course.

and sometimes with whiskey, brown sugar and whipped cream 🙂

Black in a container of some sort only because my doctor frowned at my coffee IV idea.

You should ask him about pharmaceutical caffeine. That's worked wonders for me...My coffee consumption is down...and my production is through the freakin roof!
In fact, I have so much extra energy, I started studying latin...

Black, no sugar. Prepared in a Bialetti Moka, from home roasted beans that I source and grind myself.

As superior as the experience is to 99% of the other coffees out there, it's still only barely acceptable compared to espresso from a roastery/coffeeshop that truly knows what it is doing and has the professional equipment to get it right.

If only I could justify throwing a few grand at the right equipment...

If it's being brought to my table by an attractive server I say "I like it dark as night and sweet as sin"

and yeah I'm still waiting for that one to work 😛

usually with a bit of sugar, sometimes if the beans are pricey and it's freshly made nothing in it.

Black.

I personally don't see any benefit to drinking it with milk, sugar and/or caramelized organic fig extract. More power to those who enjoy the flavored coffees. But, for me; coffee is coffee - and for my own cup, I don't want anything else in it.

Coffee enemas can cause numerous side effects, including infections, sepsis (including campylobacter sepsis), severe electrolyte imbalance, colitis, proctocolitis, salmonella, brain abscess, and heart failure. If the coffee is inserted too quickly or is too hot, it could cause internal burning or rectal perforation.

The use of coffee enemas has led to several deaths as a result of severe electrolyte imbalance, hyponatremia, dehydration, pleural and pericardial effusions. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ruled that study participants must be warned of the risk of death from coffee enemas in studies that use them.

Wow, there really IS all kinds of stupid out there.

There was a video on tv a few years ago about a husband and wife doing the whole coffee enema stuff, I think there was a part where they were even talking about what grind they preferred. Really if you just had to get a caffeine fix I would have just bought a tub of that anhydrous stuff they have on amazon.

I usually like my coffee with one creamer in it, and take it orally.
