How do you switch the video output on the PS3?

Question, I have a PS3 hooked up to my LCD TV. Its connected to the TV by a hdmi cable, now my problem is, when I tried to hook up the PS3 to a different TV by using the component cables, since the other tv doesn't have a HDMI port, it wouldn't show up on the TV since the PS3 still thinks the video output is still by HDMI cable.

Now how the hell do I tell the PS3 to switch to the component cable? Nothing won't show up at all on the TV when its hooked up by component cables but when I put it back on my LCD TV, it shows up just fine because the PS3 still has the output as HDMI.

Is there anywhere I can just hook it up to the other TV by component cables and switch it? I would hate having to keep hooking up both connections to the LCD TV and switching it that way.

Press and hold the power button on the PS3 for like 30 seconds or until it starts beeping.

That should reset the video settings. If it doesn't work the first time, keep trying until your screen displays stuff.

Yeah, you turn off the console first. When you turn it on, hold down the power button on the PS3 for around 5 seconds until it beeps. That resets the settings for you.
