How do you study? Where do you study?

I have been out of school for 9 months and now I'm back in it and a bit out of practice.

I am thinking of studying in the library at school, because I am just way too distracted/lazy at my apartment. Does that sound like a good plan?

Anyone have tips?

I study in my dorm.

I can't stand the library... it's too quiet. I write papers in the Cathedral of Learning lobby though. So nice in there. I'd recommend somewhere quiet, but not deafening silence.

when I have some hardcore work to do I go to the library

for midterms and finals, I go to the library: and proceed to sit down and study for 15 hours straight.

i usually work in my dorm, but I get stuff done faster in the library; less distractions. but i prefer to work in the comfort of my room

The only way I know how to study is the Nuke way. And I wont be doing that when I go back to college.
Will probably have to take a study skills class.

i've done it before. wake forest = work forest.

for my econ final i studied 15 hours straight, only break for food. my friend was in there with me for the full 15 hours, too, but on a different floor. the day before was only an 8 hour session. trust me, being in the library for 12+ hours here at wake during finals is not unheard of, in fact, most people, if they want a good grade, do it

I think thats a great idea. Having a place where you go that is quiet and where you only study there is an excellent idea. In my 1 bedroom its bad because there are really only 3 places to study. Living room-where I normally watch tv. Bed-where I normally sleep. Desk-where I normally browse the net. So going to the library works great for me, gets me in the study mood.
