I use those soft-sided CD-wallets. A 200 CD wallet isn't terribly expensive.

I keep all my cd's in jewel cases. Granted I've only got a few dozen, but they all get cases. My important data that I've backed up is in jewel cases in my closet. Everything else is in the tower's built into my desk.

Same here. I've never seen a 200 CD spindle. I thought the 100's looked big. Got a picture of what one of those monster towers looks like?

I like to keep them with my thumbtacks and razorblades. ;)

Actually I use a soft leather case for things i use frequently and the slim cases for storage of things that are not used that often.

slims won't fit in my cd storer thingy (and it only holds like 150 discs anyways) I'm thinkin about getting a wallet tho, I know they aren't really that large either... Does anyone use some really high tech system for keeping cd-rs (I know some of you people from HT do so don't lie!)

All the 200's are usually are just two 100 count spindles. I've gone through probably 1000's cd's. Most of them were driver disks or quick copies of stuff, music cd's and whatnot. Only the truly important things get kept, ie: retail software backups, CAD drawings, downloaded TV shows.

i have this thing that is tacked up on my wall, it was like 10 bucks, it holds 24 CDR's, but you can put 2 or 3 in each one so it really holds like 75 or so at most. its nice because i can look at it and find my cd's easily.

(i dont have that many though)

i duct tape the underside and put them on the wall next to my computer. no more flipping through those cd binders or shuffling with jewel cases or going through spindles. heh jk.. although my roommate last year did that to his coasters

Buy a big case of those Slim Jewel Cases.... I have a Double Column wooden CD tower that holds 172 normal jewel cases, the slim's converted it into a 344 holder :)

Up here in Canada you can buy a 100 Slim Case crate from Futureshop for $29.99 cdn. Not a bad price to pay for organization.
