How Do you split DiVX AVI videos?

I need a good prog to split a DiVX, aviedit and cut don't work, and premier crashed...anyone?

On the contrary, there is a cut.

Virtual dub will work. Just need to read how its done is all. The divx digest link posted should tell you how.

Actually there is something very similar. You can choose parts of the movie, by either using the controls it provides or selecting "home" for beginning and "end" for end, and then delete them. Then save the section that you have left. Then save the other section. You can line everything up perfectly by reading the timecode. Piece of cake.

btw if anyone knows a better method feel free to make me aware of it.

BTW, I think I'm not sure tho that if the audio in your DivX video is VBR MP4 then you would have to use vdub-mp3 to do the cutting becuase it takes into account the variable audio frame sizes.
