How do you spend your lunch hour at work?

So normally I used to take my lunch and eat while working. However, the other day I needed to get some fresh air so I walked about 6 blocks to the arcade to play Street Fighter 4. Now I am hooked, and I feel like I get even more work done now. So I eat really quick, and play at the arcade for about 45 min.


Anyone else spend their lunch hour doing something interesting?

I haven't played video games in an arcade since I was in high school, I just found it to be helpful in releasing stress during the day.

if i worked in a city, i could see myself doing that. But there isnt really anything interesting around here and all my coworkers are old and boring. So I surf the net on my lunch hour

My lunch "hour" is pretty much whenever I am in between classes, and usually I just eat and get back to class or back to studying.

Surfing the net and maybe reading a book is what I have been doing for years, now my days (only been doing this a week now) seem to go by much faster when I have this to look forward to.

Yah, it can be a pain to run in the middle of the day, but it works much better for me, for I can spend time with the wife & kiddies at home.

I've recently heard of this game called street fighter 4. the curiosity is building.

**edit** i just repaired my wetsuit so starting next tues. and thurs. I'm going to paddle out during my lunch. (the beach is only 5 minutes away )

me... i usually just grab lunch somewhere and bring it back to the office. i sit at the "guy's" table in the lunchroom and shoot the shit

I leave and go back to my apartment (only about 5 minutes away). I make something to eat, relax, and watch the news.
