I was just wondering and suppose were talking about a X1900 XTX...
Here in Portugal we say "x mil e novecentos xtx" which is the equivalent of "x one thousand nine hundred xtx" but although in my language it sounds good, in english it does not.. and im having trouble picturing someone entering an hardware store and saying
"Do you have an ex-one-thousand-nine-hundred-ex-tee-ex?"
So i was thinking, maybe you spell it "one nine double O" ? or... "one nine zero zero" (thats pretty stupid
) same applies to 7900 for example.. "seven thousand nine hundred" sounds awful... but "seven nine double O" doesnt sound so bad... still not as good as portuguese
