Ketchup and Catsup are too different products. Depends on which one you have as to the spelling.

ketchup. used to be several ways to say it but since the feds said that "ketchup" is a vegetable for school lunch they stopped spelling it other ways.

I would think Heinz knows how to spell the name of their product, and they spell it KETCHUP.

I have heard there are other companies which try to make a similar concoction, but I don't know why they waste their time.

Catsup & Ketchup arent two different products. I've had both and they taste the same.

P.S. I've found that Catsup is more popular below the mason dixon line as Ketchup is above. More folks I spoke with down south were more inclined to ask for Catsup then ketchup, even though the Heinz Bottle said Ketchup on it.

they're two different ways of describing the same product.

catsup

catsup
\Cat"sup\, n. Same as Catchup, and Ketchup.

catsup
