When you're viewing your mail in $mailclient, in what order do you have your messages sorted?
When I'm using webmail, I have it sorted descending by date, so that the newest mail is at the top of the stack. I do that because I want to see the newest mail on the initial page load.
When I'm using Thunderbird, I have it sorted ascending by date, so that the newest mail is at the bottom of the stack. I do that because I want the message screen to close if I'm viewing a message, and tell it to go to the next (non-existant) message, and because it will automatically display the appropriate (newest) end of the stack, when I'm viewing the index.
What do you use, and why?
