I think I can figure out LaPlace Transform for these, but what are two other methods?

y' - y = 2cos(5t) .......y(0) = 0

y'' - 4y' = 6e^3t - 3e^-t .............y(0) = 1, y'(0) = -1

Variation of Parameters and Undetermined Coefficients maybe? Looks like both would work with each equation.

I'll give them a whirl. I thought Variation of Parameters was only used to determine general solutions?

Undetermined coefficients would work, not sure about variation of parameters, i might take a look through some of my old notes from when i took the class.
