how do you sit when you're driving?

Ever tried reclining the seat back so the top of steering wheel is eye level (i.e. azn thug style)?

I tried this the other day in my prelude and the shifting seemed easier but it made my back hurt...I guess I'm too old to look like a thug

After about half an hour, I went back to my normal seat...leaning back to about a 50 degree angle and pushed back halfway. Much more comfortable and I feel like it keeps me more alert.

I did it for a joke. I drive properly, which is fairly upright with the streering wheel coming up to my wrists when arms fully stretched out. If you drive too close and rear-end/t-bone somebody, you can say bye bye to some ribs when your airbags go off.

Don't alot of old women driver look just under the steering wheel? But they don't need to lean back.

It's hard to look thuggy in a mini-suv

Slanted to the right a bit so I can rest my right elbow on the center console... my left hand is at 6 o'clock... it's very relaxing.

Granny style is usually hunched over the steering wheel, as close to the windshield as possible. I saw a lady in her 50's driving a G35 coupe granny style the other day, it was kinda funny.

i sit straight as far as i know.. no slant.. seat isn't as far back as it could go.. i drive with my left hand at 12, right hand on the shifter.

exactly. lots of people i know drive WAY to close to the steering wheel, and you know they're gonna get it when they crash.

My seat is as far back as it goes and reclines a bit but not overly far.. Maybe 40 degrees I'd guess...

Yeah, I like being able to actually see out of the front of the car when I'm driving.
