Hey! You never siad anythign about cost. My idea could keep anyone, globally, with an ample supply of cold ones.

To amend my idea, you could build some sort of beer capsule and guidance system, for better than 1 meter accuracy to anywhere on the planet, and to guarantee temperature and freshness.

just think of yourself as the Burt Rutan of beer delivery.

Years ago, I invented a freeze-dried product.

Schnell wasser.

It never caught on as much as I thought it would.

Ooh! With a large enough beer launcher, you could MIRV your beer capsules for even cheaper delivery.

Imagine that. Launching beer to people across the globe in old soviet ICBMs!

#1) Using google maps find the nearest liquor store to the person in which you want to send said brew
#2) Call liquor store and tell them that you are doing a "scavenger hunt" for one of your buddies birthdays. Tell the liquor store clerk that your guy will come in asking for "Something special, and please don't put it in my butt" and to give them they type of beer that you inted to "send" (and ask for the exact price of course)

#3) Send a letter to the person containing elaborate driving directions along with EXACT CHANGE inside another sealed envelope. On the letter ask the person to go to the liquor store and give the clerk the envelope, and say "Please give me something special, and please don't stick it in my butt"

#4 Delivered.

There goes my plan...

Years ago I successfully shipped a bottle of homebrewed beer by wrapping it up in ultra-absorbent diapers (the ones with dessicated gel in them that can stop a flood), then putting it in a ziplock bag, then packing that in packing peanuts or some similar shock-absorbing material in a box. Made it just fine without breaking.
