How do you share bills with roomates?

Just a quick question to pose to you guys. I like in a apartment with two other people. Most of the bills are in my name and the other two guys have been paying me back via paper check. However, this process sucks because it means several trips to the bank for me per month which require me to leave work early.

Has anyone here used a more convient online method to split bill payment with roomies? I would need a system that let's you transfer up to at least $600 at once.

I just figured up the main bills and then gave my roommates a flat rate they owe me every month with a buffer built in ( during the HOT HOT summer I break even and during the Coldest part of winter I'm a bit behind but besides that I have an extra 50-100 in money to act as what I tell them as just in case money. and they can't really complain 225 a month to share a 3 bedroom Duplex is not all that much all they need to cover besides that is there food

oh and a good method of payment just have a paypal account setup and have them do the same link it to your bank account and don't turn on credit card acceptance

they just paypal you the money then you dump it into your bank account

Pay on my Citibank Dividend Platinum Select and have him reimburse me his half on the date of payment, by check.

Not everyone uses the ATM for deposits (security reasons)

The only security risk with an ATM would be deposting cash, and I've done well over $5000 in cash deposit with no problem.

Have them give you cash, seems easy enough.

With my old roommates I would just add up all the bills, split them however many ways was needed and told them they owed me that much money. I would pay the bills with the cash they gave me.
