I am getting a Sensation 4G in the mail soon as a kickback from Tmobile. Was wondering from those of you who have sold mobile phones... where would I post it to get some decent cash for it?

Any suggestions, eBay, craigslist, *.* forums.. ?

Thanks.

I sold my original Droid for $60 on eBay recently when I got my Droid 3.

Yard sale, put it in between the console tv, record player and bakers rack. You should get a lot of looks.

srsly, eBay is probably your best bet.

I sold the first Droid Incredible on craigslist for $500 when it first came out. Paid $150 for it from Verizon, turned a $350 profit.

Craigslist is your BEST bet. Local, hard cold cash.

I had a brand new Blackberry Tour as a $40 replacement (but new!) from Sprint.

I sold it for $150 cold cash via CL. The buyer was smart and wanted to deal at a Sprint store to clear ESN.

Tell me if that isn't better than Ebay or online.

No you didn't. You signed on a two-year contract which gave you that discount to $150.

OP, does your phone have a camera? If so, wherever you decide to try and sell make sure you leave lots of personal and racy pictures of your GF on it ... and forget you left them there until after you sell it.

K, that went well. I guess I'll post it on CL...

How much should I ask for a New in Box Sensation 4G?

My receipt says I did, perhaps ZeZe knows something we don't... :sneaky:

I believe his implication is you then had to pay a large bill (lets assume $50 on the cheap end) for the next 24 months.

Do the math and you're about $800 in the hole.

However the logical person would realize that you probably signed that contract knowing you wouldn't change carriers for 2 years or more, leaving that cost out of the equation, as you would have had to pay it either way.
