How do you select which controller to use in GRID?

OK, first off, I can find nothing in the game that tells it what controller to use. I have tried my wheel and my my gamepad and get absolutely no response to either in the game. I have searched high and low and have founds thousands and thousands of posts about which controllers work best with GRID and which need to be set up in the custom controller section.

But I've found absolutely nothing about how to tell grid to use a controller other than the keyboard.

Any guidance much appreciated.

 
Go to the controls, and go to keybindings and set your controller as you see fit. Works on both my Saitek controllers.
