Through all your book reading, college, A+ Grades and high minded thinking. There is one thing they didnt teach you, and neither did your mother.......how to be courteous!

Solution: Don't ask stupid questions.

Since you dont know, or havent been taught. Let me help you with that. For starters how about saying things like "thank you" and "not a problem" or maybe "Im glad to help"...practice these steps for this week and we will have something new for you on monday.

I "thank you" for shutting the fvck up; I'm sure it's "not a problem" for you to do so. "I'm glad to help" you realize what a stupid question this was.

How's that?

It may be funny for your 'members' to get a laugh, but you really need some help with your social skills.

Does this mean we're not hanging out on Monday? :brokenheart:

in case no one's mentioned it ... a mega/kilo/gigaBYTE is one thing, and a mega/kilo/gigaBIT is another. Your question is similar to asking "how do you pronounce read? like 'a reed growing by the stream' or 'a red balloon'?" They're two different words ... so neither pronunciation is wrong, they just refer to different things.

Kilobyte-Megabyte-Gigabyte-Terabyte...ect

byte as in : I took a bite of a hot dog.

or

byte as in : I've been bit by a snake.

I say Byte like bite...how about you?

bit =/= byte....sounds like pc surgeon is gonna get sued for malpractice

From what iv been told, anything outside of the pc is in bits (Cable, usb etc), anything inside is in bytes(ram)

If you say bit, you're an idiot. A byte is 8 bits, so if you are confusing, or mispronouncing the terms, you have no right being anywhere near a computer, or the english language.

I would think a kilobit is 1024 bits, whereas a kilobyte is 1024 bytes, what does that have to do with being inside or outside the computer? 😛
