How do you save game in soul reaver 2?

Depends where you are -> I believe you start in a castle, the stronghold of Mr. Yank-You-Out-Of-The-Timestream. Escape from there - you swim under a tunnel or somesuch and get outside. Once outside you follow the path a little and you'll get a cutscene introducing the save point. From there on the save points are more frequent - enough to not have annoyed me anyway.
