If you are logging in to a network get Tweak UI. If not just remove Client for Microsoft Networks from the Network Control Panel.

Yeah, go into your Network Neighborhood properties and change Client for Microsoft Networks to Family Login. That did the trick on my system.

I do it the way Sacotool suggests.

Change primary network logon to Microsoft Family Logon. I like booting into windows without having to plug in a password. Of course I only have two computers networked and that is mainly for ICS and printer sharing.

If you don't save too many files in your password list, you can also delete your password list file (loginname.pwl). Then use the same password on the windows login that you use in the network login. Of course, you would have to do this every time you change your network password.
