I've got a TI-89 and want to run programs from the ticalc.org archives. How do i do this? Do I need some special software?

there is an adapter that plugs into your serial port... then the link cable goes from the adapter, to your TI... until you get the link cable, your outta luck... i think radio shack has them...

instructions on how to download the software to the TI should also come with the cable...

The 89 can run ASM and BASIC programs straight from the TIOS. just type the name
: Progname()
Most people prefer to use a shell like DoorsOS or one of the others. Like mentioned, you will need a link cable unless you want to type in programs by hand (in hex). BASIC programs can be written right on the calc.
