How do you rip DVDs that are locked?

I used that Smartripper to try to rip some DVDs like Spiderman and Triple X, but it says the files are locked. What can I do?

With Smartripper still open, start up the movie in whatever dvd software you use. This should unlock the files for Smartripper to use.
