About 3 or 4 times a year I get complimented on my eyelashes from women. Before, I used to say "What? What's that?" because I would confuse eyelash, eyebrows, and eyelids. Now, I just say thanks because I have no clue as to what else to say. It's a tricky subject because I don't know what the other person is thinking. Maybe they think I groom myself, including my eyelash. I don't. I'm as scruffy (but clean) as they come. But now, I have an older colleague who complemented me and she's someone I had a very bad first encounter with last year (She came into the cafeteria as I called a coworker a greedy whore because he claimed to have had sex with 6 women in one night). Naturally, I said "Thanks" but I think this may be an opportunity to restart our relationship but I have no idea where to take this. I know nothing about eyelashes but I want to get to know her more personally. I'm on good terms with all the senior people but she's the exception. Any ideas?
