How do you reset BIOS using jumpers?

Okay, I've recently messed up my computer trying to overclock it, and someone told me that I should try reseting my BIOS by disconnecting the power connector, taking out the battery, and then using the jumpers to reset the BIOS. Okay, I looked in my motherboard's manual (a Gigabyte GA-6VX-4X) and I just see a jumper for reseting the CMOS. Is this the same as reseting the BIOS? Also, how do you actually do it? After disconnecting the power cable and taking out the battery do you just connect the jumper pins to the reset position and then move them back to their original position? If not, then what?

Thanks,

Yes, unplug the PS, (no need to remove the battery), and short the jumper for about 15 sec. Finaly, move the jumper back to it's original position, plug it back in and reboot. All your setting will be returned to defaults, so you'll need to go into the bios and reset any custom settings you had.
