how do you remove a northbridge heatsink (pushpin style)

just got my k8neo pretty much set up and before i plug everything in i want to replace the northbridge heatsink with teh thermalright one i have, cant figure out how to get the pushpins out though? I know this must be ismple, but I dont want to try and force it.

You'll have to remove the motherboard from the case first if it's installed. Once you have the board in your hands, look at the back where the NB is. You'll see the two tips of the heatsink's pushpins. What you do is squeeze the tips and they will fit through the board. Then pull them through from the top. voila.

I was afraid of that, guess i will se how hot the nb runs before i decide if it is worth it

You really don't need to get active cooling on the NB unless you are doing some extreme ocing.
