How do you remove a chipset fan?

I just recently bought a new chipset fan and heatsink, but i can't figure out how to get the darn thing off. I uses clips with a spring, and i'm guessing that i may just have to take the whole board out.

If you've ever worked on a p180, you'll know that its a pain in the @$$. The board i'm using is my sig, chipset is just to the right of the pci x16 slot.

Depending on how the clips are, it will vary .. sometimes there are leves to release, or you might try either
lightly prying one clip to release one side, then the other will come right off .. use something that won't
damage the board and not much pressure ... you could also try to see if you can push the heat sink
fan assy down a touch .. that would free up the spring clip
