how do you remind your self to do things?

i email myself at home or work, or i write a message on my cell that covers my background image. when the task is completed, the email is marked as read or i delete the message on my cell. this technique works well since i hate having unread mail.

even after using a pda for a few years now, i never actually make a to-do list and check off as i do it. it seems to formal.

I write myself notes, wrap them around pens, and shove them up my ass. Oh, and sometimes I tie a string around my finger too.

I can't remember a damn thing. I forget to remind myself.

Edit: Perhaps I should try flxnimprtmscl's method...

3955...traded my ps2 for it...which reminds me i need to change my sig...(whips out pda...j/k) pretty basic...just ir, and wifi, dont really have any use for bluetooth...by the time i do i'll probably be ready to upgrade...its not a bad little machine...400mhz cpu, 64mb ram...i have a 512mb sd card on the way for it to store movies...one really cool feature i've found that i didnt know about is i can use the nevo app as a universal remote to control all of my audio/video stuff...also using excel to keep up with who owes me what...i was browsing ATOT with it the other day...not very pda friendly, given the screen res is 320X240...the next pda i get will probably have a phone built in
