I find that I get stressed out fairly often, and am now happily free from my usual method of stress relief (which was illegal and costly)... How do you relieve stress? I don't want to replace one psychological addiction with another so I won't be hitting the bottle, though it's tempting!
I considered meditation and will be upping my exercising soon enough, but would love to hear everyone's suggestions
Edit: Just wanted to add that I've been using my elliptical to great effect - 30 minutes and lots of my negative energy tends to dissipate. I also picked up some "guided relaxation/meditation" tracks off of Zune Market place - some of it is so goofy that it's embarrassing (with shit about unicorns and leprechauns), but some of it works amazingly well.. I also tried Pzizz, a small app that uses binaural audio to "energize" and force a state of deep relaxation - I'm sure it's mostly psychosomatics, but listening to the app through headphone has helped get rid of migraines in 15-20 minutes, vs. masking the pain through Excedrin.
