How do you register your website as a business in Jersey?

Hiya all,

I run a car site that gets quite a lot of hits, and I would eventually make some money off it. Anyways... I want to be legit about it, so how do I go about registering it as a business? Also, what kind of business should I look into making it? What kind of fees should I expect, etc?

I appreciate any help in this regard; I just want to get a back account open for the site and get going!

They have information on what you are looking for there. the type of business you want is up to you, whether its a corp or a LLC. There is information on both, plus their pricing information.

You can also go talk to an attorney.

you can do that if you want, but if you are found liable for something, they can go after your personal assets also. if you are incorporated, they only go after the business' assets.
