How do you read an MKV file?

I think my media player classic has most of the codecs it needs but I can't read these MKV files. Does anyone know of a codec pack that will support this?

I USE BS PLAYER AND ITS THE BEST BUT ANYWAYS here is the codec pack http://www.matroska.org/downloads/windows.html

YOu will also need Codec for video :!

best thing to do is uninstall all your codec ,

unistall your media classic player and about any other video player :! well the installation will promt you to uninstall them anyways :!

Then install K-Lite Codec Pack 2.69 FULL version
