How do you react to actroids/geminoids/gynoids?

They placed a recent model to act as a model in a department store window (replacing a still mannequin) to see how people would react to her. The movements are still jerky (darn mechanical actuators) and she hasn't yet exited the uncanny valley but there is a slow, steady progress to be seen every few months as each iteration appears a little more natural. This one also reacts to passersby from her store window.
