I never watched a single episode when it was on weekly. Working too much to watch stupid shows.

I recently started watching it on Netflix...I was sort of right back then...it IS kind of stupid...but slightly entertaining.

I'll keep watching for now.

The most fun ones were the one-off monster episodes, like the Chupacabra. The Alien episodes were fun initially, but they never made any progress & just dragged it on with the Smoking Man conspiracy, so those were the ones I always skipped over when re-watching them. The one with Walter White was pretty fun too.

Lone Gunman was actually pretty decent as well.

I think it was pretty good for its time, but it hasn't aged well. Most of the episodes seem kind of goofy now with the exception of a few gems.

The 93-2002 seasons were epic. Everything about the series was great. The creepyness. The ambient music. The acting. The stories. The camera work. I still rewatch it and Scrubs on Netflix. I haven't watched one new X files show. Don't even know what time it's on or what station.

It would be okay for background noise if there wasn't anything interesting on the History channel or news channels.

I liked it more when each episode was it's own story.

Neither pole option works for me.

I like the show. When I first seen the first episode I was like wow! Then came on Sightings with Tim White. Good times. This was good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wzK50zmrUA

The episode D.P.O with Giovanni Ribisi was awesome! He really got into character on that one. He then was in Saving Private Ryan and he did a damn good job in that movie as well.

For what was on TV at the time, I found X-files to be one of the more entertaining shows. Well cast. For the most part, well written...

I assume you mean the new season? It doesn't come on until January and it is just 6 episodes.

It seemed they took a mix of truth, myth and fantasy to create their episodes. Some were good and some were totally silly. My favorite was the episode called "Kaddish". The story about the Jewish Golem (Frankenstein).
