Phở is not pronounced like "FO", but more like "FUH" but don't drop your mouth much when you pronounce it so as to prevent you from pronouncing it like "FAA" or "FUUH". Google translate says "Foo" as in "fool" without the "l". This is pretty close.

Can't?

Eat with chopsticks, sip the broth by bring the bowl to mouth, continue until done.

You were saying, noobiephoer? :D

Just to let you know, we eat it with a spoon in the left hand and chopsticks in the right.

Just to let you know, my background is Asian so I do know a thing or two about how to eat Pho. I ate Pho in several states in the US and in several countries in different continents in my travel around the world quest for the perfect Pho.

I was just picking on that poster when he said that "can't eat soup with chopsticks (no spoon)".

Preferable you drink/consume the broth/liquid with the spoon and eat/consume the noodles/meat/etc. with the chopsticks.

I was pulling that guy's legs when he said "can't eat soup with chopsticks".

I could have eat Pho just a fork and nothing else if I have to.

<<----love Pho, especially Pho Xe Lua Dac Biet, large bowl with extra meat balls and everything else, Hoisin sauce plus red pepper, mix them all up and serve hot, yummmy.

its fuh with a ? at the end too. its a tone that you'd have to hear in person to get it right.

kinda like there are little details about pronouncing nguyen correctly and it's not just "win"

pho 54 ftw in south san jose!

Eh, those are Americanized egg rolls, or what Americans conceive them to be. Spring rolls are really what they are. I'd say the difference between an Asian egg roll and spring roll is the ingredients inside.

Go to King Egg Roll in SJ and see how they make them. They're done with the thin wrappers but with the typical egg roll ingredients.
