I think SLI being "sly" was the worst one I've seen.

AVIVO, VIIV, VAIO, &c. But I don't know of any companies that condense their name into a "one-word" acronym. The few I can think of right now are, like NEC, pronounced letter by letter (IBM, HP, LG, ATI, S3).

As blindingly obvious as we think it is that NEC is pronounced N-E-C, that's how obvious I think it is that "idiots" was unnecy. Try to refrain from ad-homs, pls.
