When I was a kid I called it a crick for some reason, but once I got to maybe junior high, I started saying creek.

I used to play down in the woods by the creek all the time when I was a kid. Built forts and whatnot. Fun memories

When I'm around people I grew up with, sometimes crick, sometimes creek.

I've got a cousin in Juneau who says "terlit" for toilet. We make fun of her.

Being from the North East, I would pronounce it creek, long eee. When I lived in Missouri, I had to learn to speak so they could understand me. Pronouncing R's and all that... and I picked up Crick as my creek and I like it! I have been back in the North East for 20 years and still call it crick!
