How do you pronounce bene-gesserit

ben-neh jess-serret (rhymes with ferret) is how I pronounce it in my head. Gotta love the words in those books, you have no idea how to say them!

Just got the Dune 3+ hour Alan Smithee Director cut + the Special effects redo and +6 extra minutes over and beyond the 50 extra Smithe Japanese LD edition. Frank Herbert actually reads the Intro the Irulan does in the Theactrical release. Nice I know He knows how to say them!

in college, we (English majors) kept that written up on a whiteboard outside the office of the English department chair. he was a scary, scary individual. he never erased it, so I think he took it as a badge of honor or something. heh.

The zensunnis were a mix of modern day religions. They were buddhislamics, much like the zenshiites. But the Zenshiites weren't pacifists like the Zensunni.

Even the Sci-Fi channel Dune was weak. Children of Dune was a fuckin travesty.
