His thread reminded me of a thread i was going to make ages ago 🙂 In my mind, and on the occasions it crops up IRL, i have said attey raydeon, but thinking bout that, it it probably wrong 🙂

According to english language rules, it should be pronounced Ra in Radeon should be pronounced Ray, but then rest is weird. Maybe, it's supposed to be called Raydon.

So if my name were spelled Deon, you would pronounce it "don"? Either it makes more sense than GeForce, which the way its pronounced should be spelled G-Force, as is it should sound like "gef"force.

Not really. Do you pronounce genius as geh-nius?

A. T. I. Ray dee on

I think somewhere on the older parts of their site there is a flash animation that says it as ray dee on

it sounds like radian, which is a mathematical term, so maybe thats where they got radeon from. i know geforce comes from G-force (gravitational force).
ati stands for Array Technologies, Incorporated.
