Is it Eh-nand where the last syllable rhymes with "and" or does the last syllable rhyme with "bond"?

Does the first syllable actually sound like "ah"?

ah-nand. I work with a girl named Ananda actually. strange I'd say.

edit: nand = nond sort of. but not nand as in and.

Uh-nond

I met a kid named Anand once, and that was how he said it, so that's how I've assumed it's said.

This is what I've heard as well, but I still think it as "AH-nund" (short u).

Where are people getting an nond? Since when does non sound close to nan? AN NUND is acceptable..

I suppose in english pronunciation I say it "an-und tech"

Its kinda hard when you're from other countries and try to explain stuff 😕 Because here anand is read exactly ANAND, because our A sound is your AH sound, not "HEY"
