How do you print stuff onto printable DVD media?

If you have printable media you'll need a printer capable of printing on it. There are standalone media printers & desktop printers (Several Epsons for instance) come with adapters to allow printing on optical media.

Obviously it requires a straight through paper path.

I know 'put it in and print it'...

However don't printers' paper feed bend the media?

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R300 that prints onto CDs and DVDs. There's a piece on the front of the printer that flips down, then you load the CD onto the tray provided and it feeds straight through with no bending... it's kinda cool and the output is awesome...

The CD doesn't spin when you print on it. Once the ink is dried the spin and heat should have minimal effect. That said, the lables that you stick on CD's/DVD's--I find those come off when used in auto-cd players, I think because of the heat.
