How do you post columns in a thread?

Somebody used to post tables/columns in a stats thread. If memory serves right the name was something like Whitehead or Teteblanc.

What is the code (or whatever) that allows a scrollable window in a post.

petrusbroder is getting frustrated and I think this might help.

Best way to get them straight is to do it in wordpad or some text editor with a fixed width font (Courier for example) and then, once you have them all pretty, cut & paste. I used to have my Excel sheets & scripts line them up for me using string lengths, etc...

I've found putting the names last straightens things out better as it's usaully the names that are different lenghts. Typically the numbers for each person are about the same lenght.

Here's the same thing with code attached & in the regular post. I don't particualrly like the look of the attach code text but with putting things in the post you can preview them, which showsapproxamately what things will look like in teh final post.

GeoffS, thank you for the fixed width font, I shoulda figured that out, double duh!!

I will change the set up of my stats too!

I had the stuff with the fixed font figured out, but it does not help completly. What does help is the fact that (in this forum) each digit takes two periods (Thanks Hellburner!) 😀
