How do you play movies on a dual monitor setup?

I have an ATI 9600XT vid card w/ two 17" sony xbrite LCDs. One is DVI, other is analog.

How do I go about watching movies and video files on both screens...in other words, stretch it across both LCDs?

Do I need some special software to do this?

Why you would do this is beyond my understanding. I believe ATI's Hydravision will allow you to achieve the desired results.

I'm just curious really...most likely won't be watching movies like that.
