Just my 2 cents, Devry is rip-off. You shoulda gone to a community college, then transfered to a more affordable state college.

If I was in your shoes, its time to become an army of one.😀

I actually read the link. Nice fraud.

There is always money for school. If you do not know how to get money for school then you haven't tried because you don't really care.

Peace

Besides paying for tuiton, an apartment, and food, what are your monthly expenses?

Cut coupons.
Cut up your credit cards. (If debt free.)
Can you move home?
Quit eating out/fast food.
Do you have a monthly cellphone bill? Ditch it!
Set new savings goals from your part-time job income.
Apply for more scholarships.

Let me quote myself unless the rest of you fine scholars are lacking understanding.

I'll simplify it for you.. "free ipod giveaway threads".

I pay for my daughters books, supplies and classes. I'd pay her rent too (meaning she could live at home for free) but she chose to move into an apartment.
EDIT
DOH! Didn't see his link, either.

Borrow heavily if you have to. 😛

When I first got out of school, I was in the hole like 20K, but in 1.5 years the degree has easily paid for itself and I had crappy jobs for half that time. 😛

In the coming months me and my cousin are probably gonna buy a house together. The key is to not get a worthless major. 😛

take out loans. if you go to a large university, there will be plenty of loan money and work study money for you.

work study jobs pay pretty well esp. in the science labs and etc.
no doubt, I did the work study deal, worked, i mean slept, in the computer science lab for about 15 hours a week. $8 an hour pre-taxed, and this was back in 1999, all i did was sit there and make sure the printer had paper in it. Was actually against the rules to help any students with thier computer homework, all i ever did was make sure people could log into campus email and other easy stuff. Two people worked in the lab each shift, and on some night shifts I didnt even show up, my buddy would sign me in, and I'd get paid anyways. I would sleep at the desk on morning shifts cuz i was hungover, people would print out thier papers and ask me if they could borrow my stapler, I would tell them to fvck off just to see the expressions on thier faces. Of course I would be friendly to hot chicks, but that was about it.

When I was strapped for cash, I bought scratch off lottery tickets, which never worked. I was the only guy in my dorm with a CD Burner, and I had an extra HD with 10,000 mp3's and napster was in full swing. I burned mix CD's for peeps, $5 a pop.

You're doing something wrong. You should be getting some kind of financial aid if you're trying to pay for everything yourself. If you can't afford it, live at home or get money from your parents. Are you living on campus? What kind of loans are you getting? What about scholarships?

WHAT DO I DO???

---------->>>>>>WHAT CAN YOU DO?<<<<--------

THANK YOU SO OMG VERY MUCH TO ANYONE WHO DONATED!!

what school do you go to?
ever considered attending a JC for the moment and then transfer back? or take most of your GE classes at a JC.

apply for FAFSA (not sure if that's nation wide, but it works for california residents). they also have a bunch of fee waivers at JCs, so u would save a lot of money.

that's just some suggestions if you are seriously thinking about dropping out of the school you're going to at the moment. because in that case you should just enroll in a JC....most of their GE classes are nothing much more different than HS classes, and if you're really good at learning by yourself u dont even have to attend classes and work those extra hours.
